Samani Satya Pragya is a Jain nun who received initiation into nunhood from Guru Acharya Tulsi in 1991 in India. She practices and teaches Jainism, non-violence, and Preksha Meditation and has published articles and written books in these fields. She has been teaching for more than 20 years in the department of Non-violence and Peace at Jain Vishwa Bharati in Rajasthan, India, and she will be a visiting faculty in the department of Religion at Florida International University in Miami beginning in the fall of 2016.
