Paul Sherbow is on the faculty of the Religion Department at Rutgers University, where he lectures on Hinduism and Hindu Philosophy. Additionally, he teaches Yoga philosophy workshops for teacher training courses around the country and internationally. Paul has been a life-long practitioner of Yoga since his teenage years in Massachusetts; following the path of bhakti yoga throughout the late 60s and 70s, he lived for many years in ashrams in the West and in India, learning Sanskrit and editing several classic Sanskrit scriptural texts. Paul has written a number of articles in scholarly publications, and is currently working on traditional Sanskrit commentaries on the Bhagavad-gÄ«tÄ, select Upaniá¹£ads and Patañjalis Yoga-sÅ«tra.
