Hillary is an Episcopal priest, author, seminary teacher, spiritual director, yoga & meditation instructor, beekeeper, and forest therapist. Currently, she is living out that call as the rector of St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania. This role is an excellent source of joy for her as she serves as a priest, pastor, and teacher to the congregation. In addition to parish ministry, Raining is a published writer in church and academic fields. Raining holds advanced degrees from Yale University and the Institute of Sacred Music and a Doctorate in Ministry from Drew University. Her research there included a concentration on worship, preaching, and reconciliation. Raining is also the proud founder of The Hive – an online spirituality and wellness community that helped bring ancient spiritual practices to modern-day mystics.
