Alakananda Ma is the founder of Alandi Ayurveda Gurukulu and board member of the Colorado Ayurvedic Medical Association and the National Ayurvedic Medical Association. She graduated as a physician in 1976 and did her post-graduates studies in Ayurveda and yoga with the renowned Dr. Vasant Lad. An Ayurevda practitioner since 1989, she is the author of three books.
