Creamy Tomato Sauce Recipe

You’d never guess that this sauce is healthy, but it is — it’s also delicious and nutritious. And you only need a few ingredients. Enjoy with your favorite pasta dishes, bean recipes, or with veggies.


1 tomato

½ cup of tofu (silken or soft tofu will be creamiest)

2-3 tsp Italian blend seasoning

1-2 tbsp nutritional yeast

1-2 tbsp liquid amino acid

¼ cup water

1 tbsp olive oil (optional)



  1. Pour all together in high-powered blender. Blend well.
  2. Transfer sauce to saucepan and bring to boil.
  3. Boil until excess liquid has evaporated and sauce has reached desired thickness.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
