Creamy Tomato Sauce Recipe
You’d never guess that this sauce is healthy, but it is — it’s also delicious and nutritious. And you only need a few ingredients. Enjoy with your favorite pasta dishes, bean recipes, or with veggies.
½ cup of tofu (silken or soft tofu will be creamiest)
2-3 tsp Italian blend seasoning
1-2 tbsp nutritional yeast
1-2 tbsp liquid amino acid
¼ cup water
1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
- Pour all together in high-powered blender. Blend well.
- Transfer sauce to saucepan and bring to boil.
- Boil until excess liquid has evaporated and sauce has reached desired thickness.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
