The Heart of Wisdom

Key Lessons from the Bhagavad Gita

Swami Paramananda

“The Gita embodies in itself a solution to the immediate pressing problems of man and carries a message of encouragement, hope, cheer and consolation. It is a direct appeal to divinize the entire nature of man. This little book of 701 verses is a constant companion for every man. It gives man a positive promise of salvation and makes him fearless. Therein lies the supreme value of the Gita.”
—Swami Sivananda, 1946

Dive into the teachings of one of the most important scriptures in yoga, the Bhagavad Gita. The Bhagavad Gita brings together knowledge and action, inner and outer, individual and society, man and God. All of life is presented as a perfectly complete organic wholeness, leaving nothing unsaid and attempting to solve every problem of life. Thus, the Bhagavad Gita has been acclaimed to be a gospel of life.

Come and experience these simple yet complex teachings and learn to live a life deeply rooted in service to humanity and the world at large.

Offered as 2 satsangs and 2 workshops (subject to change).

The presentations associated with this Yoga Vacation Program begin with an 8pm satsang on the first day of the program and conclude with a 90-minute noon workshop on the last day of the program.  Click here to read more about the Yoga Vacation Program details and view the ashram schedule for yoga classes and meals during your stay.
