Course Description:
This set of talks will examine the ways in which the word “yoga” is used in the Bhagavad Gita and its relevance in the daily life of a committed spiritual seeker. Lord Krishna in the Gita guides Arjuna to lead a life of balance and equanimity, that is conducive to gaining emotional maturity and preparedness for self-knowledge

Satsangs begins with 30 minutes of silent meditation and 15 minutes of chanting.
This program is offered live through Zoom webinar with the availability for students to interact through Q&A with the presenter.
For enrolled students, a video recording will be available after each class in the event you miss a class or would like to review the content.
It is possible to register and take the course at any time. You can catch up on any classes you miss with the recordings.
Requirements & Recommendations:
Swamini Svatmavidyananda Saraswati, PhD, is a widely-recognized scholar of Advaita Vedanta, teaching internationally through lectures and seminars. She is a disciple of Pujya Sri Swami Dayanandaji Saraswati and is known for her expertise in interreligious engagement and Advaita Vedanta. She is the Acharya of Arsha Vijnana Gurukulam and its centers throughout the United States.
As a founding member of the Global Women’s Peace Initiative, Swamini Svatmavidyananda has travelled throughout the world to address the challenges that face humanity on a global scale, ranging from climate change to religious and social unrest. Relating ancient wisdom to modern times, she draws from the spiritual knowledge found within the central texts of the Hindu tradition.
