Please note:

  • This course is open to all; however, you must complete an online Detox Fasting Application prior to registering. If you have a severe chronic condition or are on medication, please consult your health-care practitioner.
  • Participants are required to stay at the ashram for the length of the cleanse.
  • Please pack only natural, chemical-free body-care products for use during this program.

Manu Dawson is a certified Yoga Nutrition Therapist and Integral Yoga teacher, who has worked in the natural foods industry for over 25 years and directed hundreds of people in detoxification protocols. He is the manager of the Integral Yoga Natural Apothecary in New York City, where he offers one-on-one diet and nutritional consultations. Manu is a direct disciple of Swami Satchidananda, who was a direct disciple of Swami Sivananda.

Please bring the following items:

Natural body care products including toothpaste, mouthwash, body soap, shampoo, body oil, body lotion, and sun screen; stainless steel water bottle, stainless steel tongue scrapper.

The ashram will supply filtered water during the Detox. You should drink 64 ounces of filtered water a day.

This course will includes a daily workshop with Manu Dawson. Topics covered will include:

  • Detoxification Practice and Physiology
  • Healthy Fat Loss
  • Healthy Aging
  • Heart Health
  • How to Become a Healthy Vegetarian
  • and much more.

Guidelines during the program:

  • Drink 64 oz. of water per day
  • Take 2 probiotics 30 minutes before breakfast or upon rising
  • Take 2 detox tabs before your evening juice meal
  • Consume chlorella with every juice/meal
  • Enjoy green or ginger tea throughout the day
  • Have milk thistle tea every other day
  • Take 2 dropper-full of green tea extract per day (optional)
  • Consume fiber at night before bed, 1-2 hours after broth
  • Drink broth every night
  • Please report any medical challenges
  • If available, use a tongue scraper
  • You may use a loofah
  • Laxatives are available as needed — Vitamin C powder is recommended or laxative herbs — for 5 days
  • Please follow the program as directed

Your course schedule has been designed by the presenter to provide a holistic educational experience, and includes course presentation time, meal times, and free time for you to enjoy the beach and the grounds and participate in the ashram’s daily programs. Lines in bold type indicate required course times.

Morning and Evening Satsang: community gatherings for meditation, chanting & teachings; sometimes a silent beach walk.

Yoga Asana & Pranayama Classes: available on outdoor ocean and bayfront platforms (beginner and intermediate levels offered twice daily).
