What You’ll Learn:
Explore the teachings of Bhakti yoga, the yoga of devotion. Many of us are struggling with daily stress, anxiety and depression, and fear and uncertainty about the future, which adds an element of suffering and burden to daily life. In this course, you will learn how to take negative emotions and transform them into higher emotions of kindness, gratitude, and joy, and bring peace to your daily life.
The intent is not to worry about our negative emotions, or try to conquer or control them. With the practices of Bhakti, you transmute the heavy emotions into light. The practices of Bhakti include chanting, music, mantra, listening to stories about Divine, and being in the company of other spiritually advanced people who can inspire you. You don’t need to go to physically go to an ashram or a spend a year in a cave, you can incorporate these practices into your busy life.
Throughout this course, you will feel an immediate shift and a sense of meaning and connection in your life as you move towards the ultimate goal of spiritual liberation, connection with the Divine, or enlightenment. How these practices are taught are through the beautiful ancient text of the Narada Bhakti Sutra. The Narada Bhakti Sutras is an ancient Vedic text exploring the path of divine love, and it’s just as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago. Broken down into 84 short but power-filled truths, this wisdom series will not only deepen your understanding of yoga philosophy, but also touch upon the practical aspects on how to manage your mind and root out any negativity that limits you. Throughout this course, you will receive a profound understanding, among a group of like-minded people, led by a teacher who has studied this text for many years.
This program is offered live through Zoom webinar with the availability for students to interact through Q&A with the presenter.
For enrolled students, a video recording will be available after each class in the event you miss a class or would like to review the content.
Space is limited to 25 participants.
