Autobiography of a Yogi, by Paramahansa Yogananda, helped launch and continues to inspire a global spiritual revolution. Now translated into dozens of languages, it still regularly appears on the best-seller lists.
Although only a handful of people become disciples of Yogananda, almost every truth-seeker who wanders away from conventional religion, finds this book. For many, it is the catalyzing force for their spiritual journey.
In 1946, when Autobiography was first published, ideas like guru, avatar, swami, karma, chakras, cosmic consciousness, and astral world were virtually unknown in the West. Now they are almost mainstream.
What is the power and message of this single volume? That is what we will explore.
