In this workshop we will explore four lifestyle changes that can avoid the risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease.

Lifestyle changes , without the use of drugs, can help avoid the risk of Alzheimers and dementia. This data is based on scientific research by the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation. You will:

  • Learn how to maintain brain health and longevity
  • Learn how to make changes for a better life, long term
  • Learn the importance of meditation for brain health

Paula Levesque began her yoga journey over 25 years ago. She has been teaching yoga for the past 20 and is a frequent visitor to the Sivananda Ashram. Paula received advanced certification as a yoga instructor form the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, MA She began a study of meditation in 2006.

Recently, Paula embarked on a study of Brain Longevity ®  from the Alzheimer Research and Prevention Foundation. She intends to use this knowledge to help people lower the risk of dementia and Alzheimers disease. Stress reduction through yoga and meditation plus proper diet and exercise play a key role in the management of these diseases.

Paula graduated with a BA degree from the Ohio State University. She resides in Florida.
