The Kali-Santaraṇa-Upaniṣad is a small Upanishad that deals with the power of nāma-japa, meditating upon the name of the Lord. It is said that the period of Kali Yuga, comprising 436,000 years is characterized by conflict, strife, cutthroat competition, social injustice, and inequalities. Furthermore, there is a sharp decline in dharma and the consequent increase in unethical conduct on part of humanity. When the interest in material pursuits suppresses and overtakes spiritual desires at the individual and collective levels, mokṣha (liberation from saṃsāra) does not even present itself as a possibility.
How can one purify the heart and become eligible for self-knowledge? How can one cross the terrible Kali Yuga? Join us for a Zoom program to find out. All you have to lose is self-ignorance.
