Heart of Ayurveda

A Meditative Journey into Ancient Healing Wisdom

Dr. Marisa Jackson-Kinman (Sri Devi)
Tuition: $495

Join us for a transformative 5-day journey through the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda with our ‘Heart of Ayurveda’ program. Designed for both novices and seasoned learners, this course offers a deep dive into Ayurvedic principles, seamlessly blending profound teachings with meditative practices to integrate wisdom into the fabric of your being.

Your voyage begins with an engaging introduction to the ancient origins and fundamental principles of Ayurveda as we gain insight into the dynamic trio of doshas — Vata, Pitta, and Kapha – which are the governing energies within the body.

Next, we’ll unravel Ayurveda’s perspectives on the causative factors of disease, examining the intricate interplay of spiritual, emotional, and environmental influences that can tip the scales away from equilibrium.

We will harness the restorative power of our five senses—taste, touch, sight, sound, and smell—as important tools that, when properly utilized, are the keys to optimal health. Our practices will be designed to nurture your well-being throughout the revitalizing season of spring.

We will gain a deep understanding of the vitally important Ayurvedic understanding of digestion and nutrition. And we’ll cultivate daily self-care rituals for lifelong health.

The course will also unveil the foundational concepts of Ayurvedic Psychology, teaching the significance of harmonizing body and mind for holistic health.

Throughout the program, we will engage in meditation and reflection, ensuring that the wisdom of Ayurveda resonates within and influences your life choices for lasting balance and harmony.

Join us on this sacred path to well-being and let the principles of Ayurveda flourish within you as a guiding light for a life lived in profound wellness. ‘Heart of Ayurveda’ welcomes you to a nurturing retreat for the mind, body, and soul—a journey that is certain to carry forward beyond our time together.
