Guru Purnima is the celebration of the Guru, or spiritual teacher. On this day we will honor our Gurus, Swami Sivananda and Swami Vishnudevananda, with sacred chanting of their names, stories of their lives, and a special Guru puja ceremony to honor the traditions and lineage they uphold. This is a very auspicious ritual to commemorate the memory of the great spiritual teachers.

Radhakrishna Namboodiri is a Tantric priest from a traditional long lineage family named as ‘Kunnathillam’ from Kerala,South India. He is the son of the Sivananda Bahamas ashra, priest, Krishnan Namboodiri, and trained in the classical tradition of mantras (sacred sounds), pujas (prayer ceremonies), homas (fire rituals), and Mandalas/yantras (sacred geometric designs) from the gurukula acharya from the early age.
