Ayurveda Marma Therapy

NAMA Approved Continuing Education

Mary Ann Johnson (Isvari) and Denise Chapman (Vidya)
Tuition: $785

Marma (acupressure) points are energy pathways for profoundly healing the body, mind, and consciousness.

Students will become acquainted with the 117 vital energy points and understand their relationship with the organs, tissues, and channels. Learn the connections between the marma points in your body and your organ health and body functionality. Learn about the basic principles of Ayurveda, as well as how to analyze the tongue, hands, and face using time-tested principles. You will practice on yourself and others to understand the various types of constitutions and how to properly use analysis methods.

Learn and practice a detailed dinacharya (daily routine) on yourself each day to see the benefits for yourself, and learn aromatherapy for relaxation and healing. Experience this hands-on therapy and Ayur-yoga in the Sivananda style. This course is ideal for healing arts therapists and bodyworkers who can incorporate Marma therapy in their practices, as well as anyone interested in learning this profound self-healing modality. Students will be exposed to comprehensive and systematized knowledge that profoundly balances and heals the body and mind on its deepest levels.

A certificate of completion will be granted at the end of the course.
