Vivek Datar is a well known harmonium accompanist and soloist from the San Francisco Bay area. He first learned the art of harmonium more than 20 years ago from the late Sri Vinayakrao Kale, a vocalist from Gwalior Gharana, India. Datar has accompanied several well known artists such as Pandita Veena Sahasrabuddhe, Pt Madhav Gudi, and Pandita Laxmishankar.
