Vicki Noble is a visionary leader, author, artist, and feminist healer whose work has profoundly shaped the global Goddess movement. She is best known as the co-creator of the iconic Motherpeace Tarot and the author of transformative works such as Motherpeace: A Way to the Goddess, Shakti Woman: Feeling Our Fire, Healing Our World, and The Double Goddess: Women Sharing Power. For over four decades, Noble has taught internationally, dedicating her life to empowering women and fostering healing through spiritual connection and creative expression.
A trailblazer in the field of women’s spirituality, Noble was a founding faculty member of the Women’s Spirituality Masters Programs at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) and New College in San Francisco, later joining the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (now Sofia University) in Palo Alto. From 1993 to 2013, she helped shape the academic study of Goddess spirituality, weaving ancient wisdom with contemporary practice.
Noble’s influence extends beyond academia. For nearly two decades, she led transformative pilgrimage tours to sacred Goddess sites around the world, offering participants a direct connection to the divine feminine. Her collaborative spirit shines through her work with Miriam Robbins Dexter, co-editing the groundbreaking anthology Foremothers of the Women’s Spirituality Movement: Elders and Visionaries (2015), which highlights the pioneering voices of more than thirty creators of the modern Goddess movement.
In 2017, Noble’s artistic legacy reached a global audience when the Christian Dior fashion house licensed Motherpeace Tarot imagery for a celebrated collection. This collaboration brought her and co-creator Karen Vogel’s Goddess-centered art to the forefront of high fashion, transmitting their empowering message to new audiences worldwide.
With a rich legacy of inspiring and transformative work, Vicki Noble continues to be a guiding light for those seeking empowerment, healing, and connection to the sacred feminine.
