Lee Harrington (Mirabai) is a vocalist, sound healer, yogi, author, Sowa Rigpa therapist and ordained ngakma yogini who has been on the path of mantrayana (liberation through sound/mantra) for decades. Known for her warmth, humor, intelligence and compassion, she has served on the faculty at Tibet House, Menla and the Omega Institute, teaching meditation, mantra-healing and Nejang (Tibetan Longevity Yoga). She studies directly with Dr. Nida Chenagtsang–lineage holder of the Yuthok Nyingthik (a unique lineage of Tibetan Buddhism tailored toward doctors and healers). Lee is also a recording artist, specializing in healing mantras from the Tibetan Buddhist and Sowa Rigpa traditions. She leads kirtans and mantra workshops at dharma centers, spiritual retreat centers, yoga studios, and festivals worldwide; she also loves teaching online, offering self-healing methods to senior citizens. She believes that we all have the capacity to awaken the natural healing state within us; and she believes that a well-trained mind is capable of great benefit. Her first memoir, REX AND THE CITY, was published by Random House in 2006. She offers in-person healing sessions at the Dewa Great Bliss Spa in Phoencia, NY.
