Anne Marie Miller is a gifted percussionist and Djembe player, exploring the power of sound as a healing modality for over 12 years. In deepening her connection with the drum through the study of Brazilian shamanic music, she recognizes the drumbeat as a maternal, vibratory vehicle that can transport listeners to new states of consciousness, creating a sense of liberation from the mind, and the space to encounter fresh ways of being. Her study and knowledge of the drum translates to gong playing wonderfully. Anne Marie co-hosts sound retreats with her husband and sound partner John Minks.
