Alan Godlas (Abd al-Haqq), PhD, has been involved in traditional Sufi practice and its academic study for 40 years. He has been authorized to teach in the Naqshbandi and Shadhili lineages, is the founder of Sufis Without Borders — an international online community of Sufis — and also teaches Sufism at the University of Georgia.
