Anjaneya, Michael Hutkins, is a yoga teacher, trainer and yoga therapist, living in Cantley, Quebec. Studying at several Sivananda ashrams in Canada, the USA and India has allowed Anjaneya to live with his teachers and be fully immersed in the yoga experience.

He first became interested in chair yoga when sharing yoga with his grandparents and this motivated him to learn more about it and begin sharing chair yoga in retirement homes and long term care facilities as well as with corporate clients.

Through teaching traditional yoga classes Anjaneya also observed that many students needed adaptations to make the practice more accessible. Studying with many experienced teachers, he learned to adapt the practice to all students, from minor modifications to large adaptations due to more severe injuries or limitation without losing the essence of the practice. Now Anjaneya is happy to share his 20 years of teaching and training experience with you.
