Ingredients:
For the Curry:

* 1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
* 1 large tomato, chopped
* 1 small onion, finely chopped
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1-inch ginger, grated
* 1 tsp cumin seeds
* 1 tsp turmeric powder
* 1 tsp coriander powder
* 1/2 tsp garam masala
* Salt to taste
* 1 tbsp oil
* Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
For the Rice:
* 1 cup basmati rice
* 2 cups water
* Pinch of salt
For the Chapati:
* 1 cup whole wheat flour
* Water, as needed for kneading
* Pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Cook the Curry:
* Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them sizzle.
* Add onions, garlic, and ginger, sautéing until golden brown.
* Add tomatoes, turmeric, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until tomatoes are soft.
* Add potatoes and cook for 10 minutes, then add peas and 1/2 cup of water. Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender.
* Stir in garam masala and cook for another 2 minutes. Garnish with cilantro.
2. Cook the Rice:
* Rinse the rice, add it to a pot with water and a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until water is absorbed (about 15 minutes).
3. Make the Chapatis:
* Combine flour, salt, and water in a bowl to form a soft dough.
* Divide the dough into small balls, roll each into a thin circle, and cook on a hot skillet for 1-2 minutes on each side.
Serve the curry with rice and warm chapatis, and enjoy!
