Lisa Ramshaw, MD, DPhil, is a psychiatrist and pioneer in forensic psychiatry. She is a staff psychiatrist in the Forensic Service at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto and assistant professor and director of the Forensic Psychiatry Subspecialty Program at the University of Toronto. Her practice involves assessments of criminal responsibility, risk of violence and sexual violence, and assessments and care of individuals under the jurisdiction of the Criminal Code Review Board.
