Shakti Devi Dee trained as a yoga therapist with Swami Rama and Mukunda Stiles, and has been working with people of all ages and abilities for almost 30 years. She created Calming Kids: Creating a Non-Violent World (CK) as a non-profit organization in 2004 to teach school yoga programs for children and teens and offer teacher trainings. In 2013, CK received an award for National Health Awareness Promotions from the American Medical Association Alliance for effective programs to help reduce bullying in schools. Shakti Devi Dee is the Stop America’s Violence Everywhere (SAVE) representative for Colorado.
