Zafreen Jaffery, EdD, promotes educational equity and social justice for all children. She earned her doctorate in educational leadership from Portland State University and works at the Children’s Trust in Miami-Dade County, Florida as a research and evaluation analyst for their early childhood development initiative. Zafreen has written many publications and worked on numerous educational programs throughout the country, including one funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Previously a high school teacher, Zafreen is fluent in five languages.
