Yaqin Aubert is the esoteric secretary to Pir Zia Inayat Khan, head of the Inayati Order: a Sufi Path of Spiritual Liberty, and was a student of Pir Zia’s father Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan. Yaqin has been studying Sufism for more than 40 years and is a senior teacher in the Order as well as a cherag (minister). A founding member and former director of the Abode of the Message, a spiritual community and retreat center in upstate New York, he has also served as a teacher in the Suluk Academy, a two-year esoteric training program within the Order. Yaqin is a storyteller and leads group retreats and seminars in North America.
