Father Vincent Pizzuto, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at the University of San Francisco. His areas of specialization include New Testament interpretation and Christian Mysticism. Father Pizzuto speaks nationally on the integration of contemplative practice in higher education and has taught and published on Christian contemplative prayer around the world. In 2006, he founded a contemplative Christian community, New Skellig, to whom he continues to minister.
