Nitin Mitta is one of the most versatile and sought-after tabla players of his generation. In addition to being a dynamic soloist, he has accompanied some of India’s most celebrated Indian classical musicians worldwide. Nitin has performed at many prominent venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian, and Royce Hall. He began his training of the tabla at age nine and now trains his disciples while maintaining a diverse performance schedule.
