Created by Amy Weintraub, the LifeForce Yoga Practitioner training that this course is based on is now entering its 17th year, and continues to grow. This course is open to yoga teachers, mental-health professionals, and everyone seeking to learn additional mood-management tools to use with clients, family, and in their own life.
Participants learn yogic-based assessment of the mind and application of ancient yogic practices adapted for individuals struggling with mood disorders. You will also experience all aspects of LifeForce Yoga, including breathwork (pranayama and kriya), movement (asana), sound (nada yoga and mantra), visualization (bhavana), intention (sankalpa), hand gestures (mudra), meditation, meditative relaxation, and yogic self-inquiry.

Rose Kress, ERYT-500, C-IAYT, is the Director of LifeForce Yoga Healing Institute and the author of two CDs, Mantra Chanting with Rose and Pathways to Relaxation. Rose began practicing yoga in 1994 and has been teaching since 2004. Through LifeForce Yoga she overcame a severe anxiety disorder. Rose focuses on the therapeutic aspects of yoga and integrates LifeForce Yoga techniques into therapeutic yoga for back pain, cancer, pulmonary disease, structural wellness, and yoga therapy. Rose teaches classes and workshops in the Tucson, Arizona area and teaches in the LifeForce Yoga Practitioner Training Program throughout North America. Her new book Awakening Your Inner Radiance with LifeForce Yoga is available now.
Kathleen Williams PhD, LPC, LFYP-2, RYT-200 is a private practitioner in New Jersey, specializing in healing trauma from a psycho-spiritual perspective. She has been serving adolescents, adults, and groups independently since 1996. In addition to her therapeutic endeavors, Kathleen provides consultation and supervision in her community. She has worked in universities as a counselor and teacher, as well as offering training for clinical staff and teachers in a private school on a trauma-informed approach for working with students. Kathleen holds certificates in EMDR, Brainspotting, Yoga of Recovery, reiki and shamanic studies, Kripalu yoga, and LifeForce Yoga where she is also a mentor and trainer.
