Instructions:
Instructions:
- Prepare the Base: Line a mini muffin tin with parchment liners.
- Melt the Chocolate:
- Double Boiler Method: Fill a small pot with 1-2 inches of water and bring it to a simmer. Place a heatproof bowl over the pot, ensuring it doesn’t touch the water. Add the dark chocolate chips and stir until fully melted and smooth.
- Microwave Method: Place the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on medium power in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
- Assemble the Cups: Spoon a thin layer of melted chocolate into each parchment liner. Gently tap the tin to level the chocolate. Chill in the fridge for 10-15 minutes or until set.
- Make the Filling: In a small bowl, mix almond butter, almond flour, and maple syrup until a thick, smooth paste forms.
- Layer the Filling: Place a small dollop of the almond butter mixture on top of the hardened chocolate. Flatten slightly with a spoon or your fingers.
- Top with Chocolate: Pour another layer of melted chocolate over the almond butter filling, ensuring it is fully covered. Tap the tin again to smooth out the tops.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes, or until fully set. Remove from liners and enjoy!
Optional: Sprinkle a small pinch of sea salt on top before chilling for added flavor.
