The 9-day Onsite Immersion module for certified online TTC students includes:

  • Hands-on teaching methodology – Guidance from senior ashram staff to help deepen your teaching methodology and ability to offer physical adjustments.
  • Headstand/Sirsasana practice and teaching – Daily morning practice with the on-site TTC students. Plus, a specialized headstand workshop to fill in any knowledge gaps regarding your own headstand practice as well as headstand teaching methodology.
  • Advanced pranayama practice – Discover the transformative effects of various advanced pranayama practices such as surya beda, ujjayi, sitkari, sitali, and the powerful practice of bhastrika. Receive expert guidance from senior ashram staff to unlock your true inner spiritual potential via the breath.
  • Kriya practice – Study and practice the necessary yogic purifying exercises known as the kriyas. Learn how to practice on your own so that you can reap the benefits of internal and external cleansing daily at home.
  • Optional mantra initiation – If you haven’t been initiated into a mantra, you may choose to receive the immense spiritual energy of the Sivananda lineage through the mantra initiation ceremony. The mantra initiation is a special, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of great purification, support, and Shakti. Plus, you may also receive a spiritual name if you so desire after your mantra initiation!
  • Full immersion into yogic lifestyle – Enjoy the serene environment of the ashram, the readily-available spiritual guidance of various senior ashram staff, and the powerful benefits of daily spiritual practices at morning and evening satsangs. These satsangs uplift your spirit with devotional chanting (kirtan), control of the mind (guided meditation), and deepening of your spiritual knowledge (inspiring lectures).
  • Invest in yourself and receive the full 200-hour Yoga Siromani (“Yoga Teacher”) diploma and title from the Sivananda lineage within a year of online TTC completion.
