Virginia Frances Schwartz (Saraswati) is a Sivananda Yoga teacher and award-winning author of numerous young adult novels, including If I Just Had Two Wings and Send One Angel Down. She has trained adults and children in the writing process for more than 25 years. Currently a teacher of creative writing at the UCLA Extension Writers Program, she helps students nurture their writing practice through the use of meditation, hatha yoga, and breathing techniques.
