In his concerts, Stuart balances virtuosity and soul on his classical and Brazilian guitar, ukulele, Native American flute, and didjeridoo. Deeply committed to a compassionate and holistic vision of music education, in his workshops, he blends meditation, qigong, and yoga practice with practical music instruction and soulful improvisation process work. Stuart has toured internationally with the world-renowned new age kirtan artist Snatam Kaur. Their 2018 album “Beloved” was nominated for a Grammy award in the New Age category.

In 2014, Stuart was awarded a grant from the National Endowment of the Arts for his work bringing healing music to cancer patients at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, where he was an artist in residence for eight years.
