Shivanand Thomas Amelio deeply practiced and studied yogic disciplines and philosophy in India under the personal instruction of Swami Rajarshi Muni. While there, he edited Swamiji’s book: Yoga: The Ultimate Spiritual Path,– a classic on kundalini and esoteric yoga philosophy and practice, published in 1994. A founding member of Kripalu, he is president emeritus of the New York Open Center and teaches meditation classes in New York City and programs globally. His recordings for meditation include “The Infinite Om” and “Mantra Darshan”.
