Lidia Snyder is a Licensed Master Social Worker(LMSW), Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500), and Certified Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator and trainer (TCTSY-F) and a firm believer in the capacity of yoga to enhance and change lives. A personal yoga practice brought many benefits to Lidia and this spawned her pursuit of the mind/body connection on a deeper level. Combining her passion for social justice and yoga led her to complete her training with the Prison Yoga Project, Himalayan Institute, and followed by a 300 hour Certification from the Trauma Center in Boston, MA.
While she facilitates in traditional Hatha yoga practice spaces, the majority of her work is delivering TCTSY in mental and behavioral healthcare settings for both staff and consumers. In addition to other published works, she is a contributing author on the recently published YOGA and RESILIENCE: Empowering Practices for Survivors of Sexual Trauma.
