Dr. Govinda graduated with an M.B.B.S. from medical school in India. He went on to receive his post graduate diploma in Gerontology from The University of the West Indies in Jamaica. He has resided in Nassau, Bahamas for the past 18 years where he works as a Geriatrician at the Geriatric Hospital at Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre. In 2010/2011 he completed the Yoga Teacher Training Course and the Advanced Teacher Training Course at Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat Bahamas.
