Anand has musical roots in his family and grew up in an artistic environment in Mumbai, India. He was initiated into classical music by Narayanrao Deulkar. During his college years, he received guidance from renowned harmonium player, Vishwanath Pendharkar. These teachings shaped Anand’s accompaniment skills and prepared him to pursue this art-form further. Anand lives in San Francisco Bay area and continues to receive guidance from Vivek Datar.
Anand is an Electrical Engineer by training and Business Systems Architect by profession.
