Upāsanā, the practice of drawing near to the Divine, is a beautiful path of transforming ordinary life into an ongoing experience of sacred presence. This program explores how prayer, worship, meditation, mantra, devotion, and remembrance can gradually turn the mind toward God. Rather than limiting spiritual practice to formal moments of worship, Upāsanā invites us to cultivate an awareness of the Divine throughout the day—seeing sacredness in ourselves, in others, and in every aspect of life.
Through contemplation, meditation, chanting, prayer, and practical devotional practices, participants will explore how steady remembrance purifies the heart, quiets the mind, and deepens faith and surrender. Swami Sivananda taught that as our thoughts become increasingly centered on the Divine, the sense of separation begins to dissolve and devotion becomes a living experience. This program offers a heartfelt invitation to move from occasionally thinking about God to living in the presence of God, allowing remembrance, love, and devotion to infuse every moment with greater peace, meaning, and joy.
Offered as 4 satsangs (subject to change).
