Drawing on more than four decades of devoted practice and teaching around the world, Tulku Sherdor offers a rare opportunity to explore the essential pathways to awakening as taught by the Buddha. In this illuminating program at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat Bahamas, he will present the essence of the three traditional paths — revealing how each offers a practical approach to transforming the mind, opening the heart, and realizing our true nature.
Through clear guidance, meditation, and experiential insight, participants will discover how these timeless teachings apply directly to modern life, helping to reduce suffering, cultivate compassion, and awaken wisdom in everyday circumstances.
What makes this program unique is the rare chance to learn from a teacher who carries an authentic living lineage. Having fully received, embodied, and integrated these teachings, Tulku Sherdor transmits them with clarity, warmth, and deep presence. His ability to communicate profound wisdom in an accessible way creates an atmosphere where understanding becomes lived experience.
Participants will leave inspired, grounded, and equipped with practical tools to support their own journey toward inner freedom and awakening — guided by teachings that have illuminated seekers for centuries.

Tulku Sherdor is the founder of the Blazing Wisdom Institute and the Rimay Monlam Tibetan Peace Prayer Gathering. A dharma teacher for 25 years, he may well be the most accomplished non-native chant master in the entire Tibetan Buddhist world today, earning the admiration of great chant masters at monasteries in Tibet and Nepal. Tulku became a close disciple of Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche and Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche in Nepal in 1981. In 1990, he completed a traditional 40-month intensive Lama training retreat established by Kalu Rinpoche, during which he served as the chant master for the retreatants, and followed that with a year-long, very strict solitary retreat in the Chogling treasure lineage. Tulku has served and studied under many of the recent great masters of the practice traditions of Tibetan Buddhism and is a frequent presenter at the ashram.
