Program Type: Online Course

Date & Time: Offered as 4 weekly sessions on Fridays, Nov 13, 20, 27, & December 4, 4:00-5:30pm EDT

Hours: 6

Description:

Joins us for a verse by verse study of the twelfth chapter of the Bhagavad Gita. This chapter introduces the path of Bhakti Yoga or the yoga of devotion, which is said to be the easiest path for our age and time. It teaches how to practice devotion and love, how to attain peace and tranquility of mind, and how to achieve contentment.

Lord Krishna introduces different practices for people with different capacities – from those who are adept in concentration and meditation to those who are not yet able to concentrate the unsteady mind. He beautifully presents the qualities and attributes of an accomplished yogi or jnani, so that we may be able to emulate and practice those same attributes and achieve that same state ourselves.

This program is offered live through Zoom webinar with the availability for students to interact through Q&A with the presenter.
