The Bridges We Build Together

Walking Each Other Home

Spring Washam

In a world increasingly marked by division and disconnection, how do we find our way back to each other? How do we craft bridges strong enough to span differences, brave enough to hold our stories, and sacred enough to carry us home?

This is your invitation to gather in community and remember what binds us beyond words, beyond time, beyond even our own lifetimes. Through a soul-stirring blend of storytelling, meditation, dharma teachings, and heart-centered rituals, this program invites you into a space of deep reflection, sacred connection, and profound renewal.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • The bridges we inherit — the ancestral wisdom, spiritual lineages, and luminous teachings that continue to guide us.
  • The bridges we build — the relationships, practices, and communities that sustain our lives and our growth.
  • The bridges we cross — the courageous inner transformations that arise when we open to love, to grief, to joy, and to each other.

This gathering isn’t simply a retreat—it’s a pilgrimage of the heart, a soulful pause at the threshold of a new year to ask: Who am I becoming? Who am I walking with? And what am I building with my life?

You will experience a deepened sense of belonging, rooted in the Buddhist principles of interbeing and loving-kindness. This gathering offers a warm, inclusive refuge where your stories, longings, and presence are honored. You will leave feeling connected—to yourself, to others, and to the wisdom that has carried us across generations.

As the year comes to a close, we will also make space for intentional reflection and renewal. Through guided meditations, dharma talks, and sacred silence, you’ll gain clarity about what to carry forward and what to lovingly release, stepping into the new year with wisdom and purpose.

This experience will also support the way you relate—to yourself, to others, and to life itself. Drawing from Buddhist ethics, compassionate communication, and the power of spiritual community, you’ll receive insights and tools to nurture meaningful relationships and bridge the spaces where disconnection once lived.

Come as you are.
Bring your questions, your hopes, your prayers.
Bring your tired heart or your open one.
Together, we will walk each other home.

Offered as 3 satsangs and 2 workshops (subject to change).

The presentations associated with this Yoga Vacation Program begin with an 8pm satsang on the first day of the program and conclude with a 6am satsang on the last day of the program.  Click here to read more about the Yoga Vacation Program details and view the ashram schedule for yoga classes and meals during your stay.
