Mastering Virtues

How to Triumph Over Everyday Vices

Swami Paramananda

Negative thoughts and emotions—such as anger, jealousy, anxiety, and resentment—often stand in the way of our happiness, creating tension and disharmony in our lives. In contrast, cultivating virtues like kindness, gratitude, love, and contentment opens the path to greater joy, inner peace, and personal growth. By embracing these positive qualities, we align ourselves with our highest potential and experience true harmony in all aspects of life.

In this transformative weekend retreat, you will learn the timeless art of cultivating virtues and overcoming negative tendencies, as taught by the renowned Swami Sivananda. A saint of pure heart and accomplished yogi, Swami Sivananda’s teachings offer profound insights into how to remove the vices that hold us back and nurture the virtues that propel us forward.

Through guided teachings, reflective practices, and group discussions, you’ll gain valuable tools to begin transforming your thoughts and actions. Swami Sivananda’s method encourages us to fortify the heart with virtues, grow daily, and evolve quickly—living in alignment with our highest ideals.

“Fortify your heart with virtues! Grow daily and evolve quickly!” — Swami Sivananda
