Join us for this uplifting program on the healing properties of Kirtan music. In Kirtan we chant sacred mantras that resonates with the universal desire to unite with the Divine. This practice can be very powerful and provides the opportunity to cultivate lasting peace and contentment, compared to the fleeting satisfaction of substances or habits that do not serve our highest good.
Meditative chanting can “re-wire” the brain, creating new modes of thoughts and behaviors. Chanting encourages a communal experience, sharing our voices and creating a strong and supportive atmosphere. There’s countless stories of individuals using kirtan and meditation to heal and as support in their recovery with lasting results. The satang performances will be an opportunity to chant with community, the workshop will be focused on Kirtan for recovery.
Offered as 3 satsangs and 1 workshop (subject to change).
The presentations associated with this Yoga Vacation Program begin with an 8pm satsang on the first day of the program and conclude with an 8pm satsang on the last day of the program.
