  • How to reclaim your health at home, continuing the benefits of the retreat with simple and quick recipes that can be made daily with ease

Mona Sharma is a renowned celebrity holistic nutritionist and wellness educator. She was recently featured on the Facebook series Red Table Talk regarding her health and wellness work with Will Smith and her contributions to the entire Smith family’s healing journey.

In the video above, Mona Sharma talks about learning how to self-care from an ashram, the “ultimate wellness retreat.” She  also shares some of her favorite recipes (like kitchari soup!) and the smoothie she designed for the Pinkett-Smith family.

Mona Sharma is a dynamic leader and entrepreneur in the health and wellness industry who works with clients around the world. As a nutritionist for Will Smith, Jay Shetty, and Hrithik Roshan, she has a recurring role on the Facebook series Red Table Talk where they profile her work with Will, and the entire Smith family’s healing journey.

Mona grew up living at the Sivananda Ashram and has seen first-hand the healing power of food, yoga, and mindfulness. Her approach is rooted in ashram philosophy – food as medicine, movement as therapy, and mindfulness as the journey to optimal health. This was the foundation that led to her recovery from two heart surgeries, debilitating anxiety, and ultimately changed her career path from a high-profile corporate job.

Daily Schedule 

Your course schedule has been designed by the presenter to provide a holistic educational experience, and includes course presentation time, meal times, and free time for you to enjoy the beach and the grounds and participate in the ashram’s daily programs. Lines in bold type indicate required course times.

Morning and Evening Satsang: community gatherings for meditation, chanting & teachings; sometimes a silent beach walk.

*Yoga Asana & Pranayama Classes: available on outdoor ocean and bayfront platforms (beginner and intermediate levels offered twice daily). Strongly suggested for those wishing to gain the most benefits of detoxification and purification.
