Healing Through Bhakti

The Yoga of Love

Brenda McMorrow

Step into a heart-centered weekend of music, meditation, and spiritual connection as we explore the profoundly healing path of Bhakti Yoga—the yoga of love and devotion. Guided by the soulful presence of Brenda McMorrow, this immersive program invites you into the joyful, restorative world of Kirtan chanting, mantra repetition, and meditation.

Bhakti Yoga is not about striving—it’s about remembering. Remembering the peace, love, and wholeness already alive within you. Through simple yet powerful practices, you’ll learn to quiet the mind, open the heart, and feel more connected—to yourself, to others, and to the sacred essence of life.

What You’ll Experience:

  • Live Kirtan sessions that awaken joy and create a sense of unity and inner stillness
  • Mantra chanting to focus the mind and deepen your connection with the divine
  • Meditations and reflections to cultivate love, presence, and compassion
  • Tools for bringing Bhakti into your everyday life, no matter your background or experience

Brenda’s unique musical style—rooted in the sacred mantra traditions of India yet expressed through an accessible Western folk-soul sensibility—welcomes participants from all walks of life. Her music has been described as both deeply grounding and spiritually uplifting.

Whether you’re completely new to Bhakti or have been walking the path for years, this weekend is an opportunity to:

  • Reconnect with your inner stillness and divine essence
  • Discover the joy and healing power of devotional music
  • Experience a nurturing community of like-hearted seekers

Let your voice rise, your heart soften, and your spirit be renewed. Join Brenda for a weekend of sacred sound, spiritual practice, and the profound healing that unfolds when love leads the way.

Offered as 3 satsangs and 3 workshops (subject to change).

The presentations associated with this Yoga Vacation Program begin with an 8pm satsang on the first day of the program and conclude with an 8pm satsang on the last day of the program.  Click here to read more about the Yoga Vacation Program details and view the ashram schedule for yoga classes and meals during your stay. Brenda McMorrow is a songstress whose music lives at the heart of devotion, healing, and soulful connection. With a unique blend of Sanskrit mantra, Spanish medicine songs, and poetic English lyrics, she crafts an alchemical soundscape that bridges sacred tradition and contemporary folk.

Rooted in the ancient practice of Kirtan—call-and-response singing that opens the heart and quiets the mind—Brenda invites listeners into experiences that are both intimate and expansive. Her songs serve as sonic prayers, inviting reflection, upliftment, and inner peace.

Brenda has shared stages with Snatam Kaur, Krishna Das, Deva Premal, Jai Uttal, and Mirabai Ceiba, and is widely recognized for her heartfelt, transcendent performances. Ram Dass once said, “Brenda has a gift,” and that gift shines through in every chant and lyric.

With praise from Yoga Journal for her ability to express deep realizations with poetic simplicity, and over 23 million Spotify streams, Brenda’s music continues to touch hearts across the world. Her upcoming international tour will bring her healing voice to audiences across three continents.
