Harmonium Evolution Retreat

Find the Voice of Your Soul

Girish
Registration is closed for this course.
Tuition: $675

Do you want to learn how to lead kirtan for your students or friends, or are you seeking to deepen your own personal chanting practice? Led by renowned kirtan artist and teacher, Girish, this 6-day retreat is designed to open you up as a portal to the sacred whether you are inspired to share kirtan with others, or if you are simply looking for a safe space to explore your voice.

In a supportive, nurturing, and judgment-free environment you will be led through vocal exercises and introduced to accessible, familiar chants that move your heart into a place of love or bhav. Girish will teach you how to play these chants on the harmonium and provide you with a unique 3-part notation guide so that no matter what your musical experience you can learn to play the correct chords.

This retreat is not limited to learning harmonium though. The true goal is to find your voice, connect with love, explore what is inside you, and reveal more of the truth of who you are. Girish is your guide on this path and can accommodate you if you prefer to bring almost any instrument at all including keyboard, guitar, drum, and more. Regardless of the instrument you will discover the sacred space within yourself and learn how to channel it through your voice and the power of kirtan.

By the end of the retreat, you will be invited to lead kirtan and share your voice with others. This is not about showmanship, or performance, it is a practice and not required if you don’t feel ready.

Join us for this incredible opportunity to make music, connect with your spirituality, and discover the joy of kirtan. All levels and instruments are welcome.
