Yoga Vacation Program
August 4 — 11, 2025

From Monkey Mind to Monk Mind

Swami Shambhudevananda

In this introduction to the 7-Day Immersive Retreat, participants will learn essential yogic tools and teachings for transforming restlessness, anxiety, and distraction into clarity, calm, and inner steadiness.

Drawing from the classical traditions of Vedanta and Raja Yoga, this program offers a foundational taste of the full retreat experience—providing practical techniques to soothe the nervous system, quiet the mind, and reconnect with one’s deeper Self.

Through guided practices, discussion, and self-inquiry, students will gain insight into the nature of the “Monkey Mind” and begin cultivating the focus and peace of the “Monk Mind.”
