Field and Field-Knower: Nondual Realization & Manifestation

Swami Sarvapriyananda

Self-Inquiry Practices Inspired by Chapter 13 of the Bhagavad Gita

What does it mean to awaken to nondual realization—and how can we live from this truth in daily life?

Chapter 13 of the Bhagavad Gita opens the doorway to this profound inquiry. Here, Sri Krishna introduces the teaching of the Field (Kshetra) and the Knower of the Field (Kshetrajna). The body and mind belong to the field, ever-changing and impermanent. The Knower is pure awareness itself—the one consciousness shining in all beings. Ultimately, Krishna reveals, this consciousness is Himself: the Divine that is not separate from who we are.

To recognize this truth, two essential steps unfold: first, discerning the self from the not-self; second, realizing that all of existence is one reality—nondual consciousness. This recognition is the heart of liberation.

Sri Krishna offers twenty foundational qualities and practices, which he calls true knowledge. These practices cultivate humility, clarity, compassion, and inner freedom. They are not only preparations for enlightenment but also the living expression of it.

In this program, we will engage in guided self-inquiry based on these timeless teachings, exploring both the vision of nonduality and the means to embody it. Through contemplation, reflection, and practice, we open to the lived realization: Tat tvam asi—“You are That.”

Here, realization is not only understood but also manifested—bringing peace, love, and wisdom into every aspect of life.

Offered as 2 satsangs and 2 workshops (subject to change).
