Entering the Heart's Silence

Discovering the Unity and Healing Beneath Diversity

Dr. R. Ibrahim Jaffe

This program is part of the Unity in Diversity Christmas and New Year Symposium, December 21, 2026 – January 1, 2027.

The Sufi masters teach that the heart is the hidden place of True Knowing, Presence, and Being, where Divine Truth reveals itself directly. From this revelation, peace, unity, and healing arise naturally. The heart is the oasis and central pillar of Sufism and the foundation of the Sufi Path of Love, a living roadmap from suffering and separation into wholeness and unity. Participants are guided along this pathway of Love as the heart opens from the station of the self into deeper beauty, Gnosis, and Divine Unity.

Through practices that dissolve the veils of the self and the heart, the light of the heart can unfold. The heart becomes a mirror of Divine reality, and the abiding presence of the Beloved is realized. Sacred remembrance, recitation of the Divine Names, and contemplative practices support entry into the living silence where Unity beneath all diversity is revealed, from which healing, peace, and transformation arise.

Dr. Jaffe invites participants to open this reality for themselves, tasting the Unity of the Divine Presence within and the illumination of the heart. Through guided presence, sacred sound and readings, and contemplative teaching, he creates an atmosphere where the heart can soften, open, and become luminous, remembering what it has always known, the Presence of the Beloved. This is a universal teaching meant to be experienced: living wisdom that descends as clarity, love, and quiet certainty.

Benefits of attending include:

  • A deep sense of inner peace, clarity, and connection to the Divine Presence
  • Insight into the heart as a direct doorway to truth, unity, and healing
  • Practical sacred practices to help ease suffering, separation, and emotional burdens
  • Greater inner listening, discernment, and trust in your own spiritual guidance
  • A felt experience of a holistic Sufi approach to healing body, mind, and spirit

Participants leave renewed, centered, and inwardly anchored — carrying a quiet certainty, expanded love, and a deeper connection to the sacred within everyday life.

Offered as 2 satsangs and 2 workshops (subject to change).

The presentations associated with this Yoga Vacation Program begin with an 8pm satsang on the first day of the program and conclude with a 75-minute workshop at 2:15 pm on the last day of the program.  Click here to read more about the Yoga Vacation Program details and view the ashram schedule for yoga classes and meals during your stay.
