Dr. Shani du Sautoy will encompass an integrative psychological approach that weaves together structures of personality theories with yoga-psychology, psychoanalytical perspective, emotional-focus therapy, and mindfulness protocols (such as Dialectical Behavioural therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy) into a method that helps you make sense of yourself in an experiential, moment by moment, non-judgemental way.
The workshops will aim to provide tools for more effective questioning around negative habits, which might keep us in the samsara or vicious karmic cycle. The lectures will give the outlines of how working with the body and emotions by using major therapeutic theories provides ‘skilful means’ for personal exploration and growth. These sessions are a beautiful compilation of Dr. Shani du Sautoy’s work as it is influenced by the spiritual path of yoga and mindfulness meditation.
Offered as 1 satsang and 1 workshop (subject to change)
